The Careering Course
Careering for Youth: The Online Coaching Edition Course
Careering for Youth: The Online Coaching Edition is a complete career exploration course designed especially for high schoolers, teens and young people. Consider, are you asking yourself any of the following questions:
- “Where do I even start?”
- “Am I on the right track?”
- "What can I do now that will help me find my dream career?”
- “What summer jobs, programs or internships should I look into and apply for?”
- “Should I attend a liberal arts college, vocational training institute or trade school?
- “Who can help me figure out the right career and where do I find resources?”
- “What do I do if I’ve never had a real job?”
- "How can I use my past jobs to help my future career?”
…and so on.
If so, the Careering course can answer these and other critical career questions. Based on the award-winning book Careering: The Pocket Guide to Exploring Your Future Career, this comprehensive course offers a practical way to explore, experience and eliminate possible career paths.
Course facilitator and careering coach Tamara S. Raymond supports youth by guiding them through a personalized, intimate exploration of what resonates most with them, as well as identifying their unique talents and skills to make a difference and serve as contribution.
Young people will walk away with greater understanding of their career big picture; resources they already have and others they can explore; new career interests and passions; possible job opportunities; and much more.
