Heartfelt season’s greetings!
I hope you enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving holiday—even if it might have looked a little different this year. Yes, 2020 has brought on many unforeseen challenges. But here we are . . . we’ve made it through to December, which for many of us is no small feat!
For me, the year has been one of immense grace and huge, huge gratitude to YOU. I extend my infinite thanks for your ongoing support and commitment to careering and, most of all, for every question, comment, piece of feedback, suggestion, and/or idea you have taken time to share.
We know people are busy. We truly appreciate you contacting us, whether it’s to ask questions about content you’ve read or tell us about topics you’d like to see. We also thank you for reaching out to the larger careering community with inspired comments, shares, and likes you leave on our social media.
Just as I am 100 percent invested in your success, YOU and your invaluable input are what makes the content and information we’re able to post, write about, and share rich and relevant. After all, it’s a result of your suggestions that we were able to launch the IMC Leaders Channel on YouTube with video content addressing your questions, wants, and requests.
It’s also what made for a fun and successful National Career Development Month celebration in November with videos, a mini-blog series, YouTube Channel launch and online Careering course release, as a few highlights.
In short, OWN it. Engage, participate, and continue sending your thoughts, ideas and suggestions our way. No need to be shy! We love hearing from you and are thrilled to be in partnership.
For us, this partnership has been about recognizing that this year has, of course, definitely been different. You have had to navigate your professional, work, and career life in many new and unique ways. And listening to you regarding your concerns has helped us help you. And we’ll continue to do that. That’s what we’re about. It is my promise to you.
All this to say, thank you for being a part of this journey. We look forward to continuing with even greater momentum going into 2021. So, be sure to keep the suggestions coming. We want to hear from you!
Here’s wishing you and your loved ones a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season!
Cheers,
Tamara
